Leaves floating in a green blue square, with an odd assortment of items present. The dice add up to seven (and my youngest son named these).

Inspired by a Tennyson poem, this collage was commissioned as a homage to all life's experiences.

A tiny sewn spiral contains the center, from which the four directions emerge. Each corresponds to an element:
North-earth, east-air, south-fire, and west-water.

A tiny child looks up at the two blue squares in the centre. She is held and surrounded by the natural elements around her.


AT THE CORE

Exploring the various parts of myself revealed the core. Double layers of glass create a depth and reflection.
The doors open expanding the piece horizontally.
