- "I am inspired by many things, the earth, the sun, the people, places and things surrounding me. As most artists do, I paint because I must.
When I really feel that urge to paint (which is almost as often as I feel the urge to eat and sleep), I don't always get to, but I dream about it, I plan it, and I relish the feeling that it gives me knowing that it will be soon, very soon.
What I love about painting can very, sometimes it is just the need to capture a thought, a sense of being and other times it is the essence of the paint. I love the way it feels on the brush, the way it mixes and the smoothness as it glides on the canvas. It often gives me such a feeling of satisfaction just to capture a brushstroke, just the right way.
Sometimes I feel brilliant and other times I feel I will never quite get it. There is so much I want to paint, so much I want to share and each time the thought of the colour, that wonderful colour, excites me, because life is colour and after all, I want all I can get out of life."
I enjoy colour, pattern and uniqueness in my artwork. I try to reveal my world to all of those who wish to take part through the eyes and the mind. I have been painting professionally for almost 20 years and I invite onlookers to enjoy, share and appreciate paintings full of colour brushwork and fun. It is my desire to continue on this road as I grow, learn and mature through my artistic expressions.
With the help of Galleries, awards, commissions and juried art shows, I have become an established part of the artistic community.
