…KUDOS to GAC member Sue Richards who has been named to receive the YMCA-YWCA 2000 Women of Distinction Award in the Arts and Culture category. Ironically, at almost the same moment that Sue received notice of this award, the Upper Grand District School Board voted to sell Torrance School, home to Art Jam, the successful community arts project that Sue Richards launched in the summer of 1998.
